Dynamic Programming
Solves overlapping subproblems once and combines their stored results
Why learn Dynamic Programming?
It turns many repeated recursive computations into tractable optimization procedures.
The problem it solves
It avoids recomputing shared subproblems in sequence, graph, control, and allocation tasks.
Where it came from
Dynamic programming expresses a problem through a recurrence over states. Memoization evaluates needed states top-down, while tabulation fills a dependency order bottom-up.
